  10. 1. DRIVER INSTALLATION

  12.    a) Click the Start button on the taskbar, point to Settings, then
  13.       click Control Panel.
  14.  
  15.    b) In the Control Panel window, double-click the Display icon.
  16.  
  17.    c) In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.
  18.  
  19.    d) On the Settings tabbed page, click the Display Type button.
  20.  
  21.    e) In the Display Type dialog box, click the Change button.
  22.  
  23.    f) In the Change Display dialog box, click the Have Disk button.
  24.  
  25.    g) In the Install From Disk dialog box, type the path where the
  26.       files have been unzipped to and click the OK button.
  27.  
  28.    h) In the Display list box, click the name of the display driver
  29.       and click the OK button.
  30.  
  31.    i) At the Third-Party Drivers dialog box, click the Yes button
  32.       to indicate that you wish to proceed.

  34.    i) When the Installing Driver dialog box appears, click the OK button.
  35.  
  36.    j) In the Display Type dialog box, click the Close button.

  38.    k) In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Close button.

  40.    l) In the System Settings Change dialog box, click the Yes button
  41.       to restart your system.

  43.    After installation, if the Invalid Display Settings message box
  44.    appears, click the OK button and verify or change the information.

  47. 2. KNOWN PROBLEMS
  48.  
  49.     The display driver causes system lockup in the checked build  of
  50.     Windows NT 4.0 during  startup.  The problem does not  happen in
  51.     the free build of Windows NT 4.0.
  52.  
  53.     Driver fails to load in the retail version of Windows NT 4.0.

  56.     Installing an AGP graphics card requires you to download the NT 4.0 
  57.     Service Pack 3, which is free and available from the Microsoft Web
  58.     site.
